‘It is in the ring where one is bloodied and bruised, but it is also in that same ring where the victor is applauded. I will press on!’
Success was never designed for the frail of heart nor the timid. It is something that most of us will have to fight for with all of our might. And once you’ve got it, you may still need to fight to keep it. Success is not for the weak. It is for the brave. It is for the dreamer. It is for the believer. Success demands blood, sweat and tears, because it knows that success won easily often leads to success easily lost. However, success won through the heat of battle will make your victory sweet and your success appreciated. Do not despise the fight. For from the darkness will arise the light.
Here’s another motivational cartoon extract from the book ‘Helping You To Smile Your Way To Success!’ written by Peter Sinclair and illustrated with my cartoons….
‘The best mistakes to learn from are the ones others have made.’
Why repeat a mistake when you can sidestep it? Learn this way and you will not be inflicted with the wounds of a life lived by chance. Live your life by plan. For a life that is lived this way will be one that is not bumping along from one accident to the next. You will instead be going from peak to peak, climbing ever higher towards your goals and dreams. Make success your hallmark, because you not only live your life with understanding, but with also a dose of wisdom and common sense. Think and then think some more. Plan and then plan some more. Chart your course with insight and then walk it with boldness. Success is yours. Go get it with all your might and never lose the art of learning from all the circumstances that you face.
Motivational cartoon – free and in your mailbox every Friday!
Good Morning Richard,
I train college students to be Lifeguards and quality employees. Most have just gotten their freedom so it is my job to keep them focused on the goal whether that is for a day, week, of after graduation. I try to instill information that will awaken their talents in the way of kindness, joy, love, honor , integrity and keeping their word. Most of these students have never had any time management classes so that is another aspect of what I do. Of course, our ultimate goal is to have no drowning in the pool and to teach as many people as possible about teaching their children to swim at an early age. Your cartoons brings attention to some of these in a humorous way. Thank you for sharing and caring. I look forward to Fridays. Sincerely, Sondra Ramsour

Success – Book Cover Cartoon Illustration
I thought you might like to see the cover of the book Peter Sinclair and I collaborated on…Smile Your Way To Success. Peter fed me the idea that some negative words were always trying to get into your head. I came up with this idea to repell them! There’s no way negative thoughts should be let into your head. Keep them out at all costs – even if it means wearing a cast iron helmet! The book is about 100 pages with a short motivational article and cartoon on each page.
Over the coming months I’ll be blogging further cartoons from the ‘Smile YOUR Way To Success‘ book.
Let’s build our success together! See you tomorrow!
